BIDDING IN OUR AUCTIONS
By placing a bid in a LeatherFurnitureBids.com auction you are entering into a legal contract to purchase the item bid upon if your bid stands as the high bid when the auction ends. Once placed, bids may not be withdrawn. Retracted bids are subject to a service charge of 10% of the bid price.
Winning bidders will be contacted by LeatherFurnitureBids.com by telephone within three (3) business days of the end of the auction, weekends and holidays notwithstanding. At that time arrangements will be made for payment and delivery of your purchased item.
If we are unable to make arrangements with a winning bidder for any reason, we reserve the right to default the auction to the next highest bidder, or to re-auction the item.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
Items purchased on LeatherFurnitureBids.com are not returnable - ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We encourage any bidder to request swatches if that bidder has any doubts about actual leather colors and textures. We have tried to render swatches accurately on our website, but the nature of computer monitors makes precise color matching impossible.
ABOUT THE AUCTIONED ITEMS
All leather furniture offered in our auctions is new. You will find NO RETURNS, NO FACTORY SECONDS, NO PRE-OWNED, and NO REPAIRED ITEMS among our auctioned items. Most items are current styles and leathers. Some items, however, may be discountinued styles and leathers, and some may even be 'One of a Kind' examples of top quality leather furniture. Some items will be samples produced for regional, national, and international furniture markets. These market samples were produced for retail buyers or store owners as demonstration models, so they are always top retail quality.
ITEM PHOTOGRAPHS
Whenever possible, photographs of the individual auction items will be provided on the auction page. If photographs of the individual item in question are not available, stock photographs of the particular style of item will be used and notated.
Although digital imaging has improved through the years, the final reproduction of colors in digital images will vary with computer monitors. We cannot guarantee an exact color match between item and digital image. We encourage any bidder to request swatches if that bidder has any doubts about actual leather colors and textures.
SWATCHES
Swatches may be obtained before placing bids by calling our Customer Service Center at 800.262.1049. Please know the auction number of the item you are considering. Swatches must be returned within thirty (30) days. If an extension is needed for swatch viewing, please contact your sales representative.
Because our auctions are of limited duration, please keep in mind that swatches must be requested in a timely manner.
WARRANTIES
All items are covered by the full manufacturers' warranties.
PAYMENT
Payment should be by personal check or money order, although we gladly accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
SALES TAX
Since our showroom resides in North Carolina, purchases shipped inside North Carolina will be assessed 7% NC state sales tax.
DELIVERY
Final bid pricing does not include delivery charges. Delivery charges are based on weight and destinations, and include notification, insurance, and moving fees. Please inquire about our other delivery options. All bid prices and shipping quotes are in U.S. funds and do not include applicable duties, customs fees, or taxes, which are paid by the customer. For more information on shipping, handling, or deliveries, please call 800.262.1049. All items must be deliverable. Delivery times vary according to location. Two to four weeks can be expected.
If you choose to pick up your purchase in our showroom in North Carolina, please add 7% NC state sales tax.
